Taxes
Marty Seifert is an advocate for tax reform, accountability and reductions in taxes that harm our families and economy. The Seifert Administration will be about more than just "no new taxes" and similar rhetoric. Tax reform should employ strategies to grow new jobs, create more wealth and provide for more opportunities and freedom for our citizens. Our current system punishes those that create jobs and pushes them out of the state. A comprehensive overhaul of Minnesota's property tax system is long overdue. Families are paying too much and the system is much too expensive, complicated and regressive to be fair for the average Minnesotan. This will be one of the highest priorities in restructuring our tax system.
